Paying too much to heat or cool?
Why not have us conduct a home energy audit. A home energy audit is a most efficient way to figure out where cold or hot air is infiltrating a home. We use advanced diagnostic tools such as a blower door test, duct leakage test and thermal imagers among others to give you a complete idea of your home’s energy efficiency. A home energy audit takes only a couple hours to conduct and the benefits can have lifelong impact on comfort as well as energy efficiency of the homeowner.
Local Energy Audits is an veteran owned and operated business licensed in the city of Philadelphia. We are BPI certified in duct leakage testing, blower door testing, and home energy audits. We proudly serve customers located in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Northern Delaware areas. Whether you are a builder or a homeowner you can trust the pros at Local Energy Audits to conduct duct leakage testing, blower door testing or a complete home energy audit.
The states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey have now adopted the 2015 International Energy Conservation Code which requires all newly constructed and renovated homes to have a mandatory blower door test. A duct leakage test is also a requirement if any part of the ductwork or the system itself sits outside of the buildings’ thermal envelope. We conduct these types of tests as well as air barrier and insulation audits. We provide builders with the necessary paperwork to submit to the building inspectors in order to close out there building permits.
